Dispute Resolution & Litigation

circle light

We represent clients in complex commercial litigation and arbitration proceedings. We have many years of expertise and regularly represent clients at Austrian and European courts and in domestic and international arbitration matters.

We also have extensive industry-specific expertise, which extends to the telecommunications industry and media sector, raw materials, renewable energies and financial services. We have a particularly long-standing focus on restitution of looted art, white-collar crime, and shareholder and construction disputes.

Major cases include the representation of the Madoff insolvency administrator in lawsuits against Austrian banks and funds; the IKG in New York restitution cases relating to artworks by Egon Schiele; the French-Belgian Dexia Credit against the Republic of Austria on participation capital; KTM Fahrrad against KTM Motorrad in a trademark dispute; the City of Salzburg in relation to the “Salzburg financial scandal”; the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber on its pension system; and the Federal Real Estate Company in construction proceedings.
