Facebook posts: personal right or freedom of expression?

The latest ILO article by Claudia Csáky and Sarah Kasslatter looks at a recent Supreme Court decision on whether freedom of expression or the right to respect for privacy and family life prevails in Facebook posts.

Here, the Supreme Court ruled that the personal right to respect for privacy and family life outweighs the right to freedom of expression if the statements posted on Facebook do not contribute to a debate of general social interest.
