Ferdinand Graf is co-author and co-editor of the publication “Changes in the European Data Protection law for companies”, published with MANZ Publishers recently.

The General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR) will take effect in 2018 and will change existing European data protection laws significantly. Already in 2016 Graf Isola (f.k.a. Graf & Pitkowitz) together with the Institute for European Law and International Law of the University of Economics in Vienna and the Federation of Austrian Industries held a Conference on Data Protection, where leading experts in the areas of law and technology lectured on key topics of the GDPR relevant especially for corporations.

Ferdinand Graf, partner of Graf Isola and member of the working committee “data protection” of the Austrian Bar Association, Christoph Grabenwarter and Maria Mercedes Ritschl published these conference papers with MANZ Publishers. Ferdinand Graf and Marija Križanac address the significant changes the GDPR will have on the usage of employee related data.

As of September 2017 “Changes in the European data protection law for companies” is available for purchase.
