Graf &amp; Pitkowitz) together with the Federation of Austrian Industries and Vienna University of Economics and Business organized a conference on the topic of Current Data Protection Challenges for Business. The conference was held on the premises of the Federation of Austrian Industries in Vienna.<\/p>\n<p> The new EU General Data Protection Regulation and innovations in the field of data protection now approaching Austria were explained by well-known speakers, including Prof. Christoph Grabenwarter and Prof. Nikolaus Forg\u00f3, to around 70 guests (primarily members of the Federation of Austrian Industries).<\/p>\n<p> This very well-attended event provided an overview of the legal, economic and technical data protection challenges facing companies.
